Overview:

Described as the 'Gateway' to London's Olympic Park, Westfield's Stratford City is currently the largest shopping centre in Europe, overtaking Westfield's White City project.

On part of the 180 acre Stratford City site, the shopping centre consists of a 1.9 million sq ft retail and leisure development anchored by John Lewis, Marks & Spencer and Waitrose.

The enormous project consists of almost 40,000 tonnes of fabricated steelwork, which was awarded to Severfield. Severfield's in-house erection team was responsible for the construction of the steelwork on site, and utilised up to 50 highly skilled operatives with supervision.
