Severfield (UK) Ltd offers high quality training and opportunities through our established training department.
The department is staffed by experienced and qualified instructors, whose prime purpose is to work with new and existing employees, keeping them updated and in-line with continuing changes in legislation and health and safety.
Training courses can be delivered either on site or at any of the group company premises to upskill existing competencies, promote new skills and support career development.
Courses range from plant and machinery, to health and safety training, for example, courses approved by Construction Skills including:
The one day Site Safety Plus Health and Safety Awareness
Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
Also courses approved by the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) for example:
Client Contractor National Safety Group
And a host of trade NVQ’s in engineering construction.
As an accredited International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) training centre, Severfield can offer qualifications covering many Mobile Elevating Platform categories (MEWP) including harness training.
We also support employees in qualifications such as NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) in addition to Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), including additional college or university courses.
