Following the huge success of the 2014 ‘Fisher Cycle Challenge’, Severfield (NI) had the task of raising even more money in order to beat their £7,800 raised last year.
The 2015 bike ride took part on Monday 25 May, with 196 cyclists taking part, many of whom travelled various distances in order to be at the event to either support or take part.
This year’s ‘Fisher Cycle Challenge’ managed to raise an impressive £10,000! This was split across three local charities that were nominated by Severfiedl (NI) staff; TinyLife, Nothern Ireland Hospice and the Regional NeoNatal Unit at the Royal Maternity Hospital in Belfast.
We would like to thank all of those who helped organise the event, the cyclists that took part and also those who kindly made a donation to these amazing charities.
