Overview:
Located in the centre of Leeds, adjacent to the University's Civic Quarter, the Leeds Metropolitan development is known as the Rose Bowl. This new home for the University's business school provides a state-of-the-art learning environment inside a five storey signature glass building, consisting of seven lecture theatres, teaching areas, offices, conference and catering facilities.
Severfield was responsible for the connection design, fabrication and erection of approximately 1,300 tonnes of structural steelwork that were incorporated into this project, together with the supply and fix of metal decking, edge protection, stairs and pre-cast concrete throughout the five storey building.
