Abida Lalani is Severfield’s Group Strategy & Transformation Director, a newly created role focused on driving strategic initiatives and enterprise-wide transformation across the business, enhancing strategic capability, driving operational excellence, and supporting the delivery of long-term growth objectives. She brings extensive experience from senior roles at Costain, KPMG, HSBC and Lloyds Banking Group, leading complex, multi-year programmes including integrations, carve-outs and large-scale organisational change across regulated and infrastructure intensive sectors. Most recently, she played a key role in delivering Costain Group plc’s strategic agenda and transformation initiatives.

Outside of work, Abida is a passionate advocate for inclusion and diversity, having supported employee networks and initiatives in her previous roles. She also volunteers in community and mentoring programmes, and enjoys escape rooms, travel, and exploring cultural and culinary experiences.
