Celebrating UK Volunteer's Week 2026

At Severfield, volunteering is something we actively encourage across the business as part of our commitment to supporting the communities around us. To mark the week, we’ve created a short video highlighting some of the work we do, including our ongoing support for Martin House Children's Hospice.

This week marks UK Volunteers' Week (1–7 June), a chance to recognise the people who give their time to make a real difference in our communities.

Martin House is a local charity that provides vital hospice care for children and their families. Over the past five years, we’ve raised more than £60,000 to help fund their incredible work. We’ve seen first-hand the impact this support can have, and how important volunteering and fundraising are in helping organisations like Martin House continue the amazing work they do.

We would like to thank everyone who has been involved in our volunteering activities to date, not just for Martin House, but for the many local communities and causes we support. Whether it’s giving your time, raising funds, or supporting causes close to home, every contribution makes a difference.

If you wish to support the work Martin House do, please consider donating via our JustGiving page directly: The Severfield Foundation - JustGiving.
