Severfield hosts 'Work at Height Day'

The event was organised to introduce Sellafield, Programme and Project Partners (PPP) and other contractors how Severfield as a business manage and mitigate one of the most dangerous elements in construction – working at height.

All attendees received expert advice and demonstrations from subject matter experts. Training included exercises on mid-air rescues from Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP), demonstrations of the "harness on" technology, and a virtual reality experience on operating MEWP.

These training sessions are just one example of how we constantly aim to improve standards and awareness throughout the company, putting safety first.
