Severfield selected as steel contractor for new Co-op Live entertainment venue in Manchester

The Oak View Group’s new 23,500 capacity venue is backed by artist Harry Styles, who, partnered with OVG and City Football Club, will be working on creating exceptional experiences for fans and unique areas and spaces for performing artists.

Part of the project is largely focussed on delivering a sustainable venue, with commitments such as making over £1m in donations to local and national good causes and supporting Manchester’s net zero carbon agenda.

Severfield will be proudly collaborating with BAM Construction throughout the project and will be fabricating and supplying 10,000 tonnes of structural steelwork, along with other services such as paint, delivery and final installation of the steelwork on site. We will also be providing the metal decking on the project, along with the installation of free issue precast concrete units.
