Severfield Regional Distribution Centre Project Stafford

The impressive new distribution centre, located on Stafford North Business Park, is expected to employ more than 800 people when opening in 2022 and, in order to serve the site, a new roundabout is also being created on he A34 at Redhill.

This is the latest ‘mega shed’ that Severfield has been involved in, having worked on a huge range of distribution warehouse projects across the UK previously.

This project in particular will measure approximately 300m long and 190m wide on completion – consisting of 35 bays.

There’s also an independent single storey recycling store, tote store buildings and several offices being constructed alongside the warehouse - one of which is a three-storey external L-shaped main office which will have a roof plant deck and screen.

Our main involvement on the project has been the provision and installation of 2,500 tonnes of steelwork to site – along with additional products such as handrail systems and services such as full design and connection design - to name a few.
