About the FT Europe’s Climate Leaders

The annual survey, compiled by the Financial Times and Statista, acknowledges companies that have achieved the greatest reduction in their core greenhouse gas emissions intensity over a five-year period. Identifying the top performers is achieved through a complex and unbiased investigation, in which the data of several thousand European companies is scrutinized, and additional climate-related commitments and collaborations are assessed

Severfield is featured among companies such as Morgan Sindall Group, Willmott Dixon, Persimmons and Barratt Developments, as one of the 15 companies in the UK’s Construction & Building materials sector. What sets us apart is our unique position as the only steel fabricator among these companies, showcasing our expertise and contribution to the construction industry.

Severfield’s achievements in sustainability and emission reduction

Throughout the past year, we have worked hard towards delivering our sustainability goals. We have been recognised by the CDP as an ‘A-list’ Climate Change Leader and had our Net Zero 2050 targets approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
