Severstor Data Centre Remote unit

Severfield (Products & Processing) has secured its first Severstor contract within the data centre power market.

Severfield will be providing a unique designed modular arrangement of switchboard rooms to integrate within the site standby power generation compound. The modules are being closely designed with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) client to meet the challenging requirements presented by site constraints. Once complete, the modules will provide integrated power supply for the standby generation containers on site, providing seamless back-up power to the data centre.

Gary Norman, Severstor’s Business Development Manager has said: “This is a great opportunity for us to step into the data centre sector and showcase what we can provide with our expertise in switch gear enclosures and modular plant rooms.”
